When I talk about pests in the home, I am not referring to door to door salesmen or the pesky neighborhood kid who wracks havoc in your home.
I am talking about the little creatures that seem to sneak into every home at one time or another without being invited.
Unsuspecting, my husband went to the closet to pull out a favorite sweater to wear to work now that the weather is getting colder.

When he put it on he discovered the tell tell signs that we had a little visitor.
Moths!
Now don't totally panic if this happens to you. There are steps you can take.
Most importantly do not ignore this problem. It may seem like a big headache but those little pests will not stop at just one sweater or jacket.
Yes sadly to say I know all of this by experience!
Now don't totally panic if this happens to you. There are steps you can take.
- First take your sweater to be mended. There are places that do that still. Look under re-weaving in the phonebook or online.
- Second find all the other wool items in your closet and clean them to get rid of any moth larva.
- Third take everything out of your closet. Vacumm and spray with flying insect spray in the closet around the edges and shelves to get rid of any moths or moth larva hiding there.
- Fourth, put everything back and enjoy a clean and newly organized closet.
